Dammann’s Garden Company is a busy independent garden center. We love plants and we pride ourselves in providing our customers with a friendly atmosphere, exceptional service, and quality trees, shrubs and plants. We seek motivated employees who enjoy working with both plants and people.  At Dammann’s, we like to work hard, but we have a lot of fun doing so! We offer a fair and pleasant work environment.  We are always accepting new applications to fill the following positions: 

Cashier & Retail Service Associate - Cashiers are responsible for greeting and assisting customers, operating registers, answering phone calls, and maintaining merchandise, among other tasks. Cashiers may at times assist the greenhouse team in receiving deliveries and caring for plants. Previous retail experience is preferred, but not required.

Nursery Sales & Service Associate - Nursery associates are responsible for caring for our inventory of trees and shrubs while helping customers select the best nursery stock for their landscapes. Other duties included receiving deliveries, loading items into customer vehicles, operating a forklift and tractor, and other tasks as needed. Horticulture knowledge is preferred, but not required. 

Greenhouse Sales & Service Associate - Greenhouse associates are responsible for caring for our inventory of annuals, perennials and houseplants while helping customers select the right plants for their needs. Other duties included receiving deliveries, greenhouse production, and other tasks as needed. Horticulture knowledge is preferred, but not required.

Garden Center Assistant - Garden Center Assistants help receive deliveries, move inventory, load heavy items for customers, water trees and plants, and help us keep everything clean and tidy, among other tasks.

All positions are physically demanding, and involve standing and walking for long periods, as well as bending, lifting, carrying, and working outdoors in all weather. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
